Yeah well OR messed up with the medical marijuana allowable buy amount and ended up fueling the black market so some adjustments were necessary.

Agreed, but it may turn out to be more than an "adjustment".

Medical is basically a sham anyway. It’s like medical booze. It does have medicinal value for a few but it’s mostly hyperbole as some cure all snake oil.

I was in CO a couple weeks ago and grabbed this strain from Green Dragon (don't know what co. the seeds or clones were from) and it flat knocked me on my ass. Like, smoked something maybe like a size up from a pinner outside my hotel, walked into the lobby and it was getting so intense I couldn't deal with the line at the elevator so I took the stairs. By the last few steps to the third (!) floor I was holding onto the wall for support, not thinking I was going to make it to my room..

What followed was near-anxiety-attack-producing-insanity - it just got heavier and heavier for a solid 45 minutes. Plateaued and everything was just golden. Was literally giggling to my lonesome self checking out my room and watching shit tv.

I know this strain game is beyond hit or miss but thinking of growing something like this. I can get Cali connections pre 98 Bubba Kush seeds locally and am seeing some seriously mixed thoughts on their genetics. They aso advertise it as high CBD - but when I think I CBD I automatically assume that means low THC..

Anyone grow Bubba Kush (pre 98 or not) and have any input?

    thanks!!
Real Pre 98 Bubba was a clone only strain. Seeds will be a hybrid of some sort.

Like the Prophet we made which was Pre 98 Bubba x Tang Tang.

The Pre 98 Bubba I was running from the first page of this thread.

Gotcha, thanks. If I was going to get some form of Bubba seeds, between Greenhouse seeds, Dutch Passion or Humboldt Seeds Org, any idea if Homboldt would be the best choice? Or just look for a different ultra strength kush seed? Decisions decisions..

It's become routine after our hockey games to have a "pen party" in the locker room.

We had 5 or 6 different strains circulating the room last night.

I calll bullshit. That it had to be brought forth on the medicinal qualities in order to pass muster with the masses and politicos is sad because the reason it got to that point is because people like to get high. And that included me. But - the medicinal qualities pot has and continues to manifest with research - are phenomenal. CBD works better than vicodin for my pain. It arrests epilectic siezures in kids. And I'm pretty fukking convinced it'll cure cancers some day. Snake oil? Not even. That rec had to ride on the coattails of med felt a little snake oil-ish but by no means are the medicinal qualities of pot a sham.

My point is the majority of medical prescriptions are a sham. Anecdotal cures for everything from arthritis to cancer is ridiculous. It's like tiger penis and rhinoceros tusk. For people with serious medical conditions like cancer and seizures why not when nothing else is working. I use it as a distraction for pain but I have no illusions that it's some miracle drug. That's just an excuse for getting loaded.

Since there's been limited research due to schedule 1 classification, you are pretty much shooting from the hip here. And to your point, same for the other side. But to say what your saying is just chatter with no basis.

There has been studies, one by Harvard, where it reduced the size of tumors in mice within 3 weeks I believe.

Lots of drugs have promising anti-cancer activity in vitro and in rodent studies, far fewer show efficacy in humans. The phrase "cure cancer" is also stupid on its own, since cancer is vast suite of related but unique diseases. It's like saying something might cure viruses.

There are FDA approved cannabis derived drugs for anorexia. You don’t hear about them because they don’t get you high.

I am really enjoying my pen and the ability to switch out tanks from one strain to another. It's so convenient with no mess, no lighter, no stinky resin coated pipe, no crumbling flower turned to dust. Just click, hit and go.

All of the above. CBD has made a difference in my life and I know that many vets with PTSD have found relief through cannabis. And on the note of recreational drugs helping people I saw a piece on Ecstasy helping vets work through war related stress.

Like any drug not everyone benefits but for those that do it's wonderful.
