I'm a pretty big stoner, and I hope I can say the same on the eve of my 50th birthday. That being said, I would personally be a little pissed if someone spent $500 or $600 on what I see as a pretty simple water pipe. It doesn't matter how thick that glass is, WHEN, not if, you drop that thing while trying to clean that ridiculous showerhead diffuser clean, it is still going to shatter into an oblivion. No offense, BroM, but I've always been disappointed with the way devices like the ones you posted smoke, and they're a pain in the ass to keep clean.
A high dollar device needs to be easy to clean, because it better be spotless every.single.time. you smoke out of $500 piece of paraphernalia. Highly humidified, off tasting smoke isn't really my thing any more.

Never used a fancy bong/rig myself. Shit, I've never even held one or even seen one of those shower head diffuser things. Figured those things were $$$ for a reason, making them super special. Looks like I can spend far less and get a good piece.

Dhgate search for bongs - super cheap knock offs of the expensive bongs. As GM mentioned, I am on the clock to break the thing as soon as it shows up. If I bought quality 'merican glass it would prob sit on a display shelf.
