Yep, that was an easy fix. Just took some time to swab out the accumulated gunk in all my batteries. A very productive Saturday.

Quarter of a bedroom like 4x4 or something is what I imagine.

Hardly a grow guru, but here's my 2x4x5'8" setup shoehorned in a corner of the garage. I put it on a 29" high table for easy pruning/maintenance/crap stowage.
Can comfortably grow four 3 gal pots or three 5-gal, could likely shoehorn in 100+ single bud plants using Sea of Green.

It's not that hard to set up. Light is the big cost - mine is a refurb'd 250W LED from a client - gives me about 650PPFD with a red boost for blooming. Tent cost $175. Air circ comes from a $30 dual window-mount fan from THD, and a small $15 clip unit to exhaust air out the vent. Temp inside seems to run about 10 degrees above the garage - HPS/MH will run a lot hotter. Will see what happens when the snow flies - got a backup plan for supplemental heat.

Feeding Lucas Formula through blumats (cost around $50 for six carrots, quick releases, etc) fed by gravity from a five gal bucket. Nute/PH balance runs less than $25 for one cycle. pH meter and calibrating stuff cost about $75 but worth every fuckin penny..

Set this up for a buddy. 2x4 tent like TBS. Air cooled 600w digital (50%,75%,100% settings) Good personal set up.

This was a pic from the first run, ended up going with smaller Smart Pots and putting the filter in the tent.

Excuse the dog hair. Do not let your pets near your grow.

Anyone in Denver/CO got the hook up on lights? They would need to be cheaper than this, delivered. I could care less about the shit timer, but the pkg would need to include both bulbs and hangers. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006K5AJOG?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_sfl_titl e_2&smid=A2WRS4X4C0GMOQ

Srsly, in places where it's not acceptable to crop buds, like every place where it's not legal, dope growers are furtive and feral, and paranoid to the max of rippers and pigs. On top of all that, they're sitting around all day every day smoking the top of the crop, or even worse, early buds, which turns them into swivel-eyed lotus eaters...

So, anyone you would trust to grow dope for you is not to be trusted, because if you know she grows dope, that's one too many and probably indicative of a general pattern.

You definitely don't want your girl to know you grow dope - 8/10 she'll rat you out the first time you piss her off. If not, she'll blackmail you.
You don't want your family or friends to know either. They'll fuck up and give you away to rippers or cops, intentionally or no.
If you do it for a while, it's easy to get lax. That's when Charlie comes in the night...

Your best "grow partner" is a 90lb Mexican pit bull.
Dunno - shit happens. Last week a grower acquaintance in Marin County, CA had his neighbors call Child Protective Services on him and his wife; rippers come take a large swath of product; and then the neighbors called the cops. His first criminal hearing is in 2 weeks....

    Looking nice BeerDrinker.

That CPS shit makes me rethink about sticking within state law.

Would that 1000w hps be cool for 4 plants? How big of a tent would I need?

Vegged for about a month total on some of them. I was dealing with a lot of clones and plants from seed, in different stages.

It truly is a hodgepodge of sizes and genetics.

What is a good sight to read to identify when they are ready to cut? Also, drying\curing methods need to be researched. (Open to advice to, but happy to be pointed in the right direction and reading.

    Thanks in advance,

Trich heads will become cloudy, and start to amber.

50% ambers are what to shoot for, but it is strain specific.

See icmag.com forums - search for the thread called "a perfect cure every time".
Pro tip - You can get away with $5 hygrometers rather than the $20+ ones used by that thread's OP

Hard to give up on that cash cow of the past 40 yrs, shaking people down for personal consumption mj - fuckn sad

“At a time when a growing majority of Americans support legalizing marijuana, it’s amazing that police are still putting more people in handcuffs for this. There’s just no good reason that so much police time and taxpayer money is spent punishing people for marijuana when so many murders, rapes and robberies go unsolved.”

Colorado hotels are updating their signage. I still haven't seen the sign at the airport that says you can't take it with you. I bet that one is a collectors item.

Although I mostly indulge in the tax free variety, it has been cool to visit retail stores and get a sampler of diverse strains. The favorite these last couple summers has been Kosher Kush from High Country Healing in Citythorne. Solid.

Go 5x5 or 6x6 with a digi ballast, 5x5' with 1k conventional buzzbox. A decent 6" carbon filter should easily remove all traces of dank for at least a couple flower cycles.

Veg your 4 typical indicas to about 18" and hardened off to full flowering light before you switch to 12/12. They'll typically double in height and width in the next 20-25 days as they start setting buds at every node. Plan to pot up to final size of about 3 gal of coco in a week or two after the flip.
Try for an even canopy, as your light only has a 18-21" "depth of field". Too close, and you'll "light burn" and kill tops, too far, and the node will only produce larf or popcorn. With a good yielding strain, you should be able to pull an L every flowering cycle.
