Gorilla #4 is on point in Denver/Boulder. Wouldn't say it way harsh at all...quite smooth and tasty. I use it as a everyday indica.

It was our favorite indica on this trip. The Durban poison and the mantaska thunderfuck, was some of the tastiest sativa I've ever smoked. Good times

durbans ftw - if anyone spots a regular source of durbans or durban family (cherry pie) concentrates - post it up. I looked far and wide in WA for co2 concentrates of DP and found one shop with carts and bought only two they had. Not much of it flower wise either and pricey.

Is the fact that it is a smaller (low yield?) plant make it not a favorite choice for growers which would make it borderline dumb to turn into concentrates?
There seemed to be a lot more DB in CO this past spring.

Recently moved to Sloans Lake area, Denver. Any recommendations on local dispensaries/strands to try out? Seem like quite a few spots in the surrounding area. Cheers

iVita Wellness is about 5 miles from you. They do $25 eighths. La Conte's is also close.

Feel free to ask me whatever you want.

As telebobski said, the biggest question is, how much do you want to grow?

This is a 10x10 with 4k in it. I am going to hand another 2k, once I flip them.

Few other tents I've got. I mainly use them for veg and sexing.

This would just be for personal use and as a hobby. I go thru around a oz a week. Curious about setup costs, the space needed and yields as well as the time it takes. I'd be nice to grow my own just as we grow most everything we eat. But I don't want to smoke shit I rather keep buying it than do that. In other words I want to do it right.

Beer Drinker that is a sweet setup. Would 10x10 be overkill for what I'm wanting?

Sounds like you need about a pound per harvest, if you smoke an oz a week.

10x10 if you have the space is nice, because it has a lot of room. For lighting you would probably need 4 600w lights, for a total of 2400w. Most digital ballasts can be dialed back to 75% or 50% operation. So you could dial the wattage down to 1200 if need be, while still getting a good light foot print.

The tent is about 400, lights are going to be around 1000 for four with hoods. Maybe another 500-1000 in ferts and supplies. 2000-2500 is a good estimate for start up.

Good genetics are key, and that they are easy to source. I also have a pretty easy method for growing. Sounds like you already have a green thumb.

It looks like those are budding pretty good. You can at least make some hash with it, if it doesn't turn out.

Indoor needs to be more precise. Inert medium, and small amounts of the right ferts.

Check out Amazon, as they have all the gear and good pricing. If you are a prime member, then free shipping. That kicks ass when you order that tent and lights.

Back at the 36th Chamber, Ive got some interesting shit going down. Gorilla Glue #4 is in the lab, as well as Red Headed Stranger!

My pheno hunt starts tonight, when I flip the first tent.

Going to stuff a one car garage full of Gorilla Glue. Unfortunately, my technology is not the most advanced.

Planning a 20 light set up for mid October...

Cool I was going to ask about Amazon as we do have prime. Fucking love that shit living in the country.

So instead of a tent would building a shed work? We have all kinds of spare materials. what kind of a environment am I trying to create? If assume wood surface is bad because of fungus and mold? Just thinking out loud.

Also curious about the nutrient requirements?

These are the nutrients you need.

And some Ph up or down, depending on the PH of your water.

Medium is CoCo with 25% chunky perlite mixed in. I use bagged Botanicare Ready Gro. I also like 5 gallon smart pots.

I also add a product called bloombastic later on.

Tents are just easy to set up, and the inside already has a reflective material. A shed, with panda film stapled to the walls will work fine.

Moisture. Digital PH pen, nute solution should be 5.8 mixed.

That's hard to say. Depends on how big you get the plants. I'd just order a larger amount, like a gallon or so. You need both Micro and Bloom. You will probably need PH down as well.

Last week, donors were given the choice of four marijuana strains, including Silver Haze and Gorilla Glue.
