Backcountry.com has an opening for a new Bike Shop Technician. We need a rock star to join our bike team reporting into the Distribution Center bike shop in Salt Lake City. Responsibilities:

Assembly and inspection of all complete bikes;
Deal with inventory issues and order fulfillment including: Inventory, Picking, Packing, and Shipping;
Perform general shop duties, training, and special projects as directed by Supervisor;
Provide support to other fulfillment departments when needed.

Requirements:

A minimum of 1 year experience in high-end mountain and road bike assembly and general bike shop operational practices;
Proficiency with computer programs and preferably, warehouse management systems;
General computer and Internet skills;
Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task, pay attention to detail, and self-motivate;
Demonstrated enthusiasm and a history of learning quickly;
High School Diploma or GED.
