This is my primary walk around/wedding lens. Absolutely love it. If it had IS it'd be perfect. Tack sharp. Great bokeh. Fantastic on a full frame sensor.

Good price! Same thing I paid for mine used about a year ago.

Damnit. If it's still here in a few weeks, I'm buying it. Switching back to Canon after a year-long Nikon fiasco..

Come on, you know you guys want it. And it's practically brand new. Took it out twice around town, maybe a dozen shots total. It is a great walk-around lens, but I find myself reaching for my primes more often. And since I just picked up a 50mm to fill the 35-70mm gap, I can't see myself using this too much now.

BurnHard, I was planning on putting it up on POTN (at a slightly higher price) next week (assuming no bites here) , but if you're really interested, I can hold off on offering it elsewhere.

I've been looking for a good deal on that lens. Any chance of shipping to Canada?

I don't have any problems shipping (UPS) to Canada, but not sure how the taxes/customs fees work. I'll try to check on it today and let you know.

That´s a really, really, really great lens. I convinced my dad to get one to replace his Sigma equivalent. He loves it, too.

Fuzz, I really like your shots in general but particularly that last one. Seems like this lens really works for you, are you just replacing it with another prime? I might sell mine because I heard rumors that one of these years they'll add IS, but it's been pretty good to me to shoot indoor events (weddings, bands, etc) so there's no rush.

Bump for a super quality lens.

Thanks. And to answer your question, yes, I picked up the Canon 50 f/1.4. I was using 16-35, 35L, and 70-200, so had a hole in the 35-70 range, which is why I picked this up, mainly as a single walk-around lens. But I realized that I still didn't use it much. I don't mind carrying and switching multiple lenses, and if I did want to carry just one lens, I was mostly reaching for the 35L. The 50/1.4 now plugs that 35-70 hole very well.

Plus I also ordered a pair of DPS Wailer 99s, so the wallet is feeling a bit empty!

Now price drop to $1,050. Somebody get it before I change my mind and decide to keep it (it does make a good ski lens, where changing lenses may not be ideal).

Well if I didn't get pulled over for having a busted tail light that resulted in needing to get a full inspection that turned into "you need to repair these items for 3 grand to legally put this truck back on the road." Truck is only worth a grand. The light was only a fuse and I changed it in front of the cop and he still gave me the inspection notice. Punk. So I got a newer truck. 1st world problem.

So no can do for now. I'll be sticking with the primes to cover that range for this season.

Bump to the top for a great lens and an even better price.
