I just don't wanna be seen as a dirtbag who brought in a pair of twice drilled skis to be mounted for a third time and then demanding a new pair if the guy made an honest mistake, he didn't try to BS his way out of it he owned up to the fact that it was a freehand mount and he screwed it up. I guess its just my nature to be forgiving

plus I think he's already done the repair

It's not that big of a deal, he'll just have to remount the heel piece and maybe drill one hole if you're lucky. Maybe 2. I wouldn't worry about it.

    laseranimal,

It may not be the mount or your weight. This exact problem was happening to my ski buddy last week and even though she skis reasonably aggressively, she weighs half of what you do. This was happening in deep but heavy powder, to both skis, just like yours. First we thought they weren't locked down, but it kept happening even after we snapped them solidly in place. Then we thought she might be kicking the latches by crossing her tails, but I didn't really see her doing this.

The Fritschis were mounted by the folks at Black Diamond themselves, (they were last years demos) and I figure they oughta know what they were doing, since they market the damn things. I told her to take them back and ask them what was up, and will let you know what they tell her.

ok just got back from the shop, new mount looks good, shouldn't be any problems. Got both the bigs and my G4's back fully tuned and the coreshot that I put in my G4's fixed no charge for any of the work done. I'm satisfied

    THE END
