people don't always get that they can still be drunk after having "slept it off". i know friends who have got DUIs after waking up and driving home. i got tested at the hospital before a surgury and my blood alcohol level was .15 . not bad until you factor in that it was 7am and i quit drinking at midnight that night per doctors orders. (now i look back and think that he meant to quit drinking water and that sort of stuff.) i hadn't gone to sleep yet. it's a good thing that the nurse asked me if i had drank that night or i'd be dead from the anesthesia.

Although, I did just hear of a guy who actually blew a .90!(new world record) I'm not sure how the hell that is possible, since I thought you were pretty much dead somewhere in the .35-.40 range.
