Smuggs was good. Soft on Sat and sweet on Sunday. Skied some OB trees and was surprised at how good it was. Still need to watch where you put your skis but all in all not as bad as I thought it would be. 6-8 inches of pow on top of a firm base. Now we just need about 3 feet more.....

maybe after this next warm up and re-freeze.....blah blah....

I think I took the faceplant award for the weekend at Okemo. Double binding release to solid faceplant. Broke my goggles, my glasses and got stiches to fix up the nose. It was quite interesting driving home with taped up glasses with only one lense.

The Rivah was decent on Saturday. It was dumping when I left. On Sunday I skied the Sherby and it was really good. I would have skied the bowl, but the dude I was with was still drunk from Saturday night. Bluebird w/no wind @ HoJoes low/mod avie danger. That does not happen this time of year. The again, neither did the slide on Huntingtons on saturday either.

I am going to be in the Jay area this weekend anyone around?

Hehe, forgot about that too. I'm tellin' ya, pick up the rag and you'll have all the steeze you can handle. Fackin' classic

At least you weren't sportin' the neon pink fartbag we saw halfway up our Fiddle poach in the afternoon. What the hell was she/he thinking????

Good to meet you! Was wondering what the hell happened to you after that poach. We headed for the slowdon quad after that run, Spanky waited for you at the bottom for a little while. Hit anything else interesting that day? Fiddle was a pretty nasty bitch in the afternoon, but all came away unscathed (minus a lot of base and ptex). They were pulling passes at the base of Conclusion right after you hit it, sounds like you guys opened the floodgates.

my dream is to own a neon pink fartbag. It's the only thing more visible than my current jacket.

Haha I forgot the rope steeze, the pink neon steeze...but I think who gets it the most is the male wearing the female black stretch pants (circa 1975) with the grey rear entry boots (circa ??) and the florescent jacket. I think spanky got some helmet cam of it in the glades triple line. It was fuckin classic.
Just ski down there and jump of a somethin' fer cryin' out loud!

Looks like I'm heading up to Jay for a couple days. Tues, Weds, maybe thursday as well; depending. If by chance anyone's there look for the dude in the bright yellow flexons, black cargo pants and blue/white jacket.

    cheers

It was off of Upper Fall Line and one of the black diamond trails that runs into it. The bottom of the closed trail looked like it had a little more cover and I wanted to ski the little fresh that was on it. However, it was pretty much a dead stop once I got off the man made snow on the trail.

Got anymore info on that slide in huntingtons? Checked the mt.washignton site, but no info. Just sort of curious as I had planned to be climbing in Huntingtons this past sunday, but changed plans at the last minute to go ice cragging instead.

Also, I will be at Jay this weekend with a bunch of co-workers. Look for a telemarker with yellow boots, a black helmet, and a blue/black jacket.
