Great skiing to be had out there today. I was thinking that we would have some settlement over night, but that was not the case. A nice five inch refresher came in late last night which kept the skiing outstanding. Anyone ski south this afternoon? Did it mank up? The snow was noticeably heaver on the second lap. Christopher3000 headdin to work..

Got out this morning with Wills, broke trail the top half between Days and Silver. Took a couple laps in Silver, West Bowl. Dropped into Main Days via Jaws, then up Days for a finishing lap on Flag. Great snow, stability was good. By 11am most aspects at lower elevation were scary wet, picking up 4 inches of snow on my bases, wax wasn't gonna help.

2pm, skied south. Definitely going to have at least a skin on it in the morning, if not a stout/nasty crust.

It's been a good March so far.

Just some footage of some of my favorite days so far this month. Skied with a lot of mags already this month, thanks for the good turns.

Still some dry snow out there but like others have said you need to be on something almost due north. Saw some natural wet avy action on the way up lcc this afternoon droping a buddy off at arround 3:20 on the ice chute east of the Y. Defnitily got a good amount of snow moving with it.

Cardiac Ridge Tuesday, might be my last visit to the ridge, nice and quiet on Tuesday, but the ski out to BCC was painfully slow.

sounds like a cool event, wish i could make it, but i'm headed out of town to win the lottery!!!!!!! suck it bitches and i won't be taking any of you JONGS, gapers and beaters heli-skiing with me. well maybe skifishbum cause he's a cool dude and that would probably help me win his POV stoke contest that never was...... the rest of you though can wear abag of dicks as a hat for all i care....... hahahahahahahaha

I like snow/ski/splitboard paintings/pictures and stuff. i think you might want to add if there will be free wine like any worthwhile art show should provide

Looking to do a tour on Saturday. I was thinking perhaps Deseret Peak, and though I know this isnt in the Wasatch I figured this might be a good place to find someone to tour with. Skiing Mt Baker tomorrow and then driving south. Would love to hook up with someone for this.Shoot me a pm if you're interested.

Then planning on skiing somewhere in the Wasatch on Sunday.

Bring your mountain bike, sometimes the road is closed for no apparent reason. From experience I know this is a long walk in and an even longer walk out, even with tennis shoes on.

Great area, but I'd be skeptical about coverage in the Deseret area this winter. But who knows.

went for Deseret last may (late) i think there was around 100 inch base with lots of storms. I bet skiing will be better now because of a more consolidated snowpack. i have been actually thinking of going again around now but tomorrow wont work.

bring your bike for sure, its a big one.

^^^^^We spent the last few days skiing the north facing couloirs and high west faces on Timp. Great conditions right now. Legit soft snow on north couloirs, corn down low, corn on west faces. Mostly stable conditions with isolated wind pockets up high.

There's a booter up the Grunge, and a booter up the west face of the north summit.
