Found snow at about 8400' on the west aspect, heading up into the NW couloir on Broads Fork yesterday... Well frozen on the way up, and although we didn't give it a chance to soften up, I'm sure all aspects had nice corn at the right time. Today being a bit warmer, I'm curious if it firmed back up overnight?

Can you drive to the timpooneke road now? Or, how far up AF canyon can you drive now? (I've never really been clued in as to how the road openings work down there).

Looking to get out tomorrow or Saturday. Not sure where yet. How are conditions/how safe? I have not heard many updates, good or bad in the past few weeks. Not sure how early I will get up to wherever I go so that may cancel out any good corn.

havent looked into it yet. In the past I have not had to drive all of the way to the Timpooneke road. you can park along the road by a private camp/lodge called Mutual Dell and head south up a trail that intersects the summer road.

Glad the ski areas turned the skiing off. It really has been awful, good thing everyone's heeding their closures.

    Main Chute Sat. 5/12

Main chute skied nice if a bit rock laden on Sat. Good slush on crust conditions with limited runnels and suncups, still a bit bumped up.

    Buffarama corn mid afternoon exit.

    Medusa Couloir Sun 5/13

Medusa skied nice, if short, on Sun. Av Debris is mostly smoothed out from melt/freeze cycles, however the line is the shortest and the base the thinnest in 10 yrs. of spring skiing here (the side moat is only about 3'-4' deep).

A sizeable pine knocked down by a slide blocks the choke to one side (visible in the last pic).

Wondered if these would show up here. I was with that group that was coming down while you and your buddy kept stopping to snap shots.

    Rocks were easily avoidable.

100 yard walk from the parking lot to snow, then a short 50 yard dirt section at Collins. Slow snow, but beats the shit outta 90+ valley temps
