I woke up breifly at about 3:00am to hear rain pounding on the roof. It'll be there. Don't worry. Here's NOAA's short term forecast for this morning:

MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW WILL CONTINUE THIS MORNING WITH 3 TO 5 INCHES
ACCUMULATIONS EXPECTED THROUGH 9 AM IN THE LOWER VALLEYS AND UP TO 8
INCHES IN THE UPPER ELEVATIONS. HEAVY SNOW WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE
DAY WITH WINDY CONDITIONS DEVELOPING LATER THIS MORNING. EXPECT NEAR
WHITEOUT CONDITIONS OVER THE PASSES WITH ROAD CONTROLS OVER MOST
    HIGHWAYS.
Here's thier long term forecast that was posted this morning:

...MAJOR WINTER STORM TO AFFECT THE SIERRA AND PORTIONS OF WESTERN
    NEVADA TODAY THROUGH MONDAY...
.A STRONG LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL INTENSIFY OFF OF THE WASHINGTON
AND OREGON COAST TODAY. PERIODS OF HEAVY SNOW CAN BE EXPECTED IN THE
SIERRA...AND IN THE VALLEYS OF NORTHEAST CALIFORNIA AND ADJACENT
PORTIONS OF WESTERN NEVADA...THROUGH THE WARNING PERIOD. WINDS...
STRONG AT TIMES...WILL PRODUCE WHITEOUT CONDITIONS...ESPECIALLY OVER
HIGHER ELEVATIONS AND PASSES. SNOW AMOUNTS WITH THIS STORM MAY EXCEED
TOTALS FROM THE SNOWSTORM WHICH OCCURRED LATE LAST WEEK.
TRAVEL IN THE WARNING AREA IN EASTERN CALIFORNIA AND WESTERN NEVADA
IS DISCOURAGED TODAY THROUGH MONDAY AS ROADS WILL RAPIDLY BECOME SNOW
COVERED AND HAZARDOUS. ANYONE PLANNING TRAVEL SHOULD MONITOR THE
LATEST FORECASTS FROM THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE ON THIS DANGEROUS
    WINTER STORM.

...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM PST MONDAY...
SNOW IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN THIS MORNING AND WILL CONTINUE THROUGH
MONDAY WITH HEAVY SNOW AT TIMES. BY MONDAY AFTERNOON...TOTAL SNOW
ACCUMULATIONS OF 3 TO 5 FEET ARE EXPECTED AT LAKE LEVEL...WITH 5

LEVEL...AND ABOVE 100 MPH OVER THE RIDGES...WILL PRODUCE AREAS OF
BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW WITH NEAR ZERO VISIBILITY AT TIMES.
I dunno. If its anything like last weekend's storm (and it looks worse), I'm not sure that I'll be even getting up there at all. We'll see.
