I believe our empathy and integrity, the soul of what it is to be part of this group, can be measured by how much we assist with difficulties suffered by others in the collective, and that's what makes the sum of our parts greater than the whole of what we are. I hope some of the rest of you can find it in your heart to do the same for a truly great bro who is nothin but the best both on and off the hill. $10 here and $10 there from this collective could make whole lot of difference for Z when he gets home.

Would he do it for you?
    You better believe it.

We share our triumphs together. We've shared tragedies as well. That's what families do. And charity begins at home. If he was making even 30K a year, I wouldn't post this with the emphasis I have put forth.

Paypal contribution fund for Z: patk@aci.net

I sent what was left in my paypal account. Wasn't huge but Z is more broke than I am so help him out!!

Sweet...Possibly a PNW Costco shopping trip is in order in the near future???? That could be a cool welcome home gift- food, beer, and some movies or something?

Something my wife just reminded me of, if Z needs a wheel chair for a little while, the Lions Club loans them for free.

Sorry, was out all morning(finished getting my skeleton drivers license).

Anyhow, I've got a one way ticket left on southwest. Not sure of how the value works for going elsewhere, it was originally for a vegas/slc flight, but I can contribute it to the cause. I don't know what the plan is for getting the car or zbo home but maybe we use it for flying phUnk back after he drives to sea? squirrel, it looks like you are the point, so drop me a line 435-602-9142.

Just visited Z at LDS Hospital (anyone wants the room # PM me).

He's in as good of spirits as anyone could possibly be in that situation..that doood has got a good outlook on life!!! However, lots of pain present and the meds aren't working the best.

Asked him if he needed anything now and the reply was,

"Pizza"...the boy craves solid fud. But he can't have any.

    Getting discharged on Monday.

    Some issues:

Car is here obviously. Told him we were working on getting it outa here, but he said it could stay till he could come back in 3-4 months. Its got spark issues and he says he doesn't want anyone chancing driving it and ending up stranded somewhere in the Blues. Z-bo's preference is to store it in SLC for awhile.

Finances/Insurance, well, thats a private thing, but we help out our own...

Guys got a great attitude...be a good thing to stop by for a quick visit to help keep that pumped!

$600+ for the Z. Thanks, guys and mrs. roo (she's so class). All those 20's, 30s, and 40s add up.
I'm sure he'll thank you all personally when he's able.

Best wishes for a speedy and complete recovery.

I'm happy to help Z-Bo in any way I can - somebody just needs to tap me on the shoulder.
