Anyone there today whats the coverage like? I'm trying to pick which boards to take tomorrow beater X-15's, G3's or bring out the big guns and ski the G4's
For sure, you have to be lost to find a place that can't be found, elseways everyone would know where it was

Coverage is excellent in the middle of trails - they've got the typical rig open - East Glade, Rime, and then Great Eastern and Bunny Buster get you to the bottom.

They didn't groom for today, so there were huge rolling mounds in the trails. Hopefully they'll groom tonight, though that brings the possibility of pebble incorporation from the underlying ground.

I'll be there at the ass-crack of dawn - grey jkt and pants, Red T-race tele boots, and something mounted with a hammerhead

Here is the link for the pics of opening day:

It was a beautiful day on the mtn as the gondie started at 1030am for the public. We got on around 1130am as we weren't informed of the earlier opening. That's ok, we definitely had our fill today. The guns were blazing everywhere except Upper Rime. They didn't groom therefore giant whales were abound. Rime started to form a few bump lines around 230pm and the lower parts of the mtn started to get crunchy (middle chute and lower bunny buster). I skied until around 330pm and had my first tasty apres ski beer at the base. Nothing like a good brew after opening day.

Looked for magmins but didn't see anyone asking for change. Maybe this weekend. All in all, an amazing day.

It's the chalky kind of conditions that you get from manmade stuff. Bumps started to form around 230pm. I broke out the new Fischer Airstyles and they worked well, somewhat like the G3. G4 may be too much for these conditions. I didn't hit any rocks or grass so you don't have to use the beaters.
