Where did you upload the pics to?

There are two ways to do this. Upload pics to another site (flickr, etc...) and then open that pic in a new window. Right click on the pick, grab the url of the picture. Then click that little symbol that looks like a painting in a frame and insert that url that you copied.

2nd way is to attach the picture as an attachment, then submit your reply. Then click on the attachment which opens the pic in it's own window. Right click on the pick, grab the url of the picture. Then edit your post. Then click that little symbol that looks like a painting in a frame and insert that url that you copied.

Easiest way to add pics imo is just to use the img code that photobuckt provides for every pic you upload.

send the pics from your phone to your e-mail and then you can save them to your computer and post them as attachments

One thing to remember, if you add them as attachments it isn't as easy as copying the url anymore to post them inline full size. The attachment URL doesn't end in ".jpg" so if you copy the URL and put it between IMG tags, you need to add the .jpg to the end of the URL if you want to actually put them in fullsize. Since they are in your browser buffer they will show up inline on your comp but not on other peoples. They will have to click the attachment to see it full size.

    Hope that makes sense.
I think you have me confused with someone who is far less awesome.

OK Computer illiterate newbie here. Understand option 1. Option 2 I don't. How can I attach a pic to my post? See the painting but no paper clip. What am I missing?

Since you found the right forum, here's my .02. Use an photo hosting site. I use photobucket. Super easy to upload to them, free, and really easy to copy the tags from there to this forum. This is pretty much standard procedure for posting pics on this site and pretty much computer illiterate proof.

My advice in your gear swap thread, though sucinct, was good and will save you a ton of beatdowns on here. Most of what people ask has been discussed over and over. Post whatever stoke you have, share good stories, ask good questions, contribute. You seem to have a good attitude coming in, try to keep it!

    Mr. MC,

Thanks boss - will try a hosting site.

Well.............the spirit is strong (but the flesh is now weak). Have had a good history back to Fischer E 99's, snowfields and illegal (pre yurt) tipis. Montana, Colo, Eye-dee-hoe. New school beatdown vibe is same old 'tude - like the lowbaggger 1980 pinhead (me). Just way easier to work the gear today. Age mellows.

So now I have a few twin tip tele moves. Whoopa. Attitude - yup.

Thanks for the intro, advise and heres to some turns in '11 and '12. Poking in the bc tomorrow. Cheers.
