So, I did quite a few searches and couldn't find much. Who can work with a pair of boots, and know how to put shims and wedges and other involved things like that? I saw a reference to Dale Boots. Do they work with your boots too, or do they just make custom boots? Thanks for the help.

Daleboot manufactures boots and custom-fits them to your feet as part of the retail price (which includes fit adjustments for life). I don't think they will work on boots from other makers.
I heart mine, FWIW.

I recommend seeing Steve Bagley at Superior Ski, which is the shop in the back left of Christy Sports on the Tram Deck at the Bird. He's good.
