Pick your spots and it will be money. Faceshots and lots of sluffing today. The resort was skiing less than 17, the Dive etc were skiing more.

Yesterday here was super busy, at least for Kimberley, but today the slopes were strangely empty. I guess most visiting Albertans pack up and don't ski on the actual holiday Monday.

    Good to know.

My bro lives in Marysville and I might be there in a few weeks. I know the hill a little but I would buy beers for some more local knowledge. Are you friendly or are we going to have a ski off? I'm really fun to ski with as I don't care what I ski or where.

Castle was really good today. The snow was as light and NOT wind-affected as I've ever seen on the chutes. There is a crust layer at lower elevations and there was a lot of sluffing of the new snow on that layer in areas that don't see a lot of skier traffic (i.e. the farthest chutes... Havey's Dream onward). If they got a lot more snow, keep that layer in mind if you venture out that far.

This was my last (half) day skiing until April due to job requirements, so you can thank me when it starts puking in my absence.
Goal: ski in the 2018/19 season

^^^Thanks man! I was thinking of buying a new mtb bike but you have guaranteed us a good dump soon. Thanks for your sacrifice and may the corn gods be good to you in April...

For sure, let me know closer to the date when you will be in Ktown. Would be happy to show a N. Rockies mag around. You can return the favour when I am at Marmot the next time as I still don't know the local stashes that well.

I haven't skied there in years but I have fond memories of skiing the "snowboard" park and getting called terrible names. We duct taped a camera to my helmet and the footage was great with kids on there ass calling us fags. At the time no one was hitting the jumps and we were the only ones. Patrol didn't care cause we were shredding the gnar!
Also the first hill I ever had the life changing revelation of fat skis (Salomon cross mountain haha). Ground breaking shit for sure.
On pow days do you guys ski the lower chair (tamarack?) Looks like fun on deep days or am I full of it...
I always liked skiing there for the low key vibe and lack of douches... still the same?

Going to sacrifice one twin to the Griz and one to Ullr to cinch the forecast for 25cm + tonight.

Rock paper scissors championship in the impending wait anyone?

December started off great with an awesome opening preview at Kicking Horse (previous vid), however the "snow grinch" came in and left us hunting around to get our powder fix. Santa came by and handed out some powdery gifts and all was well there after.

Fuck, I tried to voice over the episode to add an informational flow as to how the month was progressing and the little parade bit was fit in with voice over in mind, but apparantly I sound like a tard and am a total flop in the voice over department so left it as is with the previous description. No gnar, just really nice snow.

The camp is rendered out and completed, just 2 more uploads before then LMAO, so you'll have to keep waiting for that.

Given there's no winky face or anything of that nature i'll reply in kind to how yours comes across.

Unlike some people I don't pretend to be "gnar". I can post only the better lines or best skiing from a single day any given time but it's not realistic of days I spend out. Resort footage has not been my focus and if you think that you can ski gnar in the back country around here early in the season any time you want then your kidding yourself. If you're going to call out some one for not posting skiing up to your standards then post some of your own cause I haven't seen any yet.

The camp footage is meant for the people that were in it and that's who I made if for. There's no hype it's a bunch of stoked people waiting to see and perhaps remember some fun times. The footage is what it is, a bunch of like minded people having a blast skiing and learning something and it's a small fraction of the skiing from the 2 days, if you don't like it then too fucking bad don't watch it.

More gnar? Like rolling down the windows over a shitty road gap to flat landing on the Sander Lake connector road?
Flying the Bluehouse colors in Western Canada! Let me know if you want some rad skis!!

"He is god of snow; the one called Ullr. Son of Sif, step son of Thor. He is so fierce a bowman and ski-runner that none may contend! He is quite beautiful to look upon and has all the characteristics of a warrior. It is wise to invoke the name of Ullr in duels!"

Forgot the winky face. Thought the "dude on the internet" (ie how insignificant some random dude's opinion is) was enough. Also edited in the "be afraid" in after you read it (but before you posted), because I thought it still wasn't obvious yet that it was meant to be playful.

I have posted some stuff. It's not great though, even I can see that. I would repost it, but I don't want to slut it too much.

Teo- tomorrow and the day after is my avy1 course. After that though, I'll be up there most days. You guys fucking rip hard, it was a good confidence-booster

Gripen- you've got a good eye.
