I'm hoping the freezing level stays low enough here in the E. Kootenays for the snow to keep falling.

That was not something that was much of an issue when my main skiing was at LL/SSV.

Hopefully this may limit the whining about lack of stoke. Littleish summary of this season so far:

Very cool Monty! Where is are those September shots?

Freezing level at Revy is forecast as high as 1200m the next few days, so rain down low is likely, but snow up high is also likely. If anyone is interested in carpooling from Calgary or somewhere on the way, I'm leaning towards making the drive.
Goal: ski in the 2018/19 season

Dumping in Golden! Also a heavy snowfall warning for today! Another 10-15 today on the 10-15 yesterday. The only problem is that this is falling onto a nice, thick and juicy layer of hoar.

It'll pour rain in Revy today, that can stay there!

It poured in Golden today although by the looks of it from across the valley, the ski hill base trees are white. Still under a heavy snowfall warning followed by more rain tomorrow. Looks as though they got 26cm at the Stairway weather plot today.

I was. They've got fuck all terrain open but the snow was good and it was quiet enough that you could lay down tracks next to your own even in obvious spots, as you can see in the vid:

Big dump in Golden (20 +cm's at my house) but now it's pouring rain again. The hill is up to 46.4cm for this storm. Not sure how high the freezing level is now.

Maybe 10cm or so in Canmore this morning and still coming down, roads are probably going to be _interesting_ with the thaw/freeze underneath...

Snow of the past few days has now changed to light drizzle at the base of Kimberley. But looks to still be snowing not too far up the mountain.

Some major dumpage has been going on, so heading out now to have a closer look.

Good morning at the Lake. Snow had enough density to be supportive. Good times for sure. Not sure if they did get Paradise open or not. Definitely not running before noon. Tomorrow should be good too with up to 3 new chairs opening.
