I didn't say that you had to put away your skis and get out your bike. I agree we still have a solid 8 weeks of great skiing left and I will be partaking in that. Just getting the word out about a free event....

Not going to lie, I am looking forward to riding. Got drunk last night and attempted trials riding in my basement. Did not go well....

^yep....that mogul field under neath always makes for a teeth chattering run out. Best to stick close to the tree but that also has certain cons to it if you hook up an edge.

LMAO....so, got any vid of that to post for our entertainment?

RCR said that it will be posted on their website when they are going to be for sale, no time frame given. I imagine the locals price is gone as that was only a 10 year deal Whitetooth made with BN when they sold.

Had a wolverine run in front of the car on the way down the LL access road today coming home. Pretty stoked as it's the first one I've ever seen! Only saw it for the couple of seconds it took to cross the road and get over the snowbank, but still pretty cool.

In other news, the backside was still skiing pretty nicely today without too much noticeable crust, and there was hardly anyone there. I guess Albertans all go south for their March breaks?

get it shipped to a US maggot who can then re-ship to you?

get it shipped to a boarder town (Eureka MT) and road trip

call and ask gear trade if they will ship to you.

Cat Skiing at Big Red Cats - Rossland / Red Mountain BC It's been dumping non-stop ALL DAY... you know how in January I told people to reschedule, because it wasn't very nice? Well, this is exactly the sort of time you'd want to reschedule to!

Joe Gusa Gabe and I are thinking about it. We're already heading to Schweitzer for tomorrow before heading up for Saturday, but we're thinking of making it a day earlier.....

Try http://www.packageexpress.com/ They charge a couple bucks to receive and forward stuff. Ship via USPS = no duty/brokerage, maybe GST (though sometimes not). I've used them and a couple mags in the "where do cdn mags buy gear" thread have too with success. Not sure what the cost for shipping skis would be, give them a ring and find out

I would do just about anything to find a way to have a flexible job closer to the mountains so I can get out there for all those powder days. I am so jealous time2climb.

Absolutely fucking sick day. Pure pow skiing at it's finest. March madness indeed it's been day after day of powder for about 3 weeks now non stop.

Todays obs were not jiving with the k-country bulletin issued last night....seems they got more than expected when it came out. See todays MCR report titled kcountry skiing. http://www.acmg.ca/mcr/archives.asp Careful!

Saw this, refreshed snow-forecast and said "whoah, fuck!" That sure changed from what they were saying this morning.

Good day at the Horse, some pretty epic face shots were had. Or maybe I just notice it more now that I got rid of my filthy beard. First time I've had one spatter and stay on my goggles, anyways. After 12, I was convinced that I was going to die on the lower mountain, every run. Super sketchy, skis just bouncing off any inconsistency. Oh, and my knee HATES that chattery shit. <15 footers, no problem; chattery snow, FFFUUUUU-
