    Just another alta pow day

Today was sick, open to close, no stopping. Skied with many mags, Mr. AG, powho, dtm, ac, lynx, bum z, splat and vets. PPE (post pow euphoria) in full effect.

Sweet day today. Who had the Bro Models out today? Somebody had em with freerides following me up the shoulder.

I'm so stoked right now I can barely type this.

Words cannot describe how fucking disgusting Snowbird was today. Best day I've ever had there. Yeah, I said it.

No crowds, and WAIST DEEP BLOWER POW everywhere.

    Let's tick them off:

Get Serious chutes: Owned. Tight chutes filled with creamy deep love.

Restaurant chutes: OHHH Lordy. My favorite chute was UNTOUCHED. 200 yards of blower in a chute about 15 feet wide and pitched at about 40 degrees with a mandatory 10 foot air at the end.

Mineral Basin: 1700' vert shots of straight up constant whiteroom.

Little Cloud: Oh my God. Can you say constant face shot/whiteroom? Started to get a bit chewed up in the afternoon so I started to cut the rope into the Road to Provo and got lap after lap of THE WHOLE LITTLE CLOUD FACE in 3 feet of untracked blower. Nothing compares to making 4 maching turns down a ~1000 vert. face. Hooooooly sheeeit.

Two days ago, 2Planker had Tyrolias and some silly Trekkers on his Bro's. It wasn't him, unless he wised up and ditched the Tyrolias for the freerides.

WISE UP TWOPLANKER, DITCH THAT SILLY ALPINE SHIT.

I watched as the snow fell all night knowing I had to leave in the morning. Partied with the Peruvian crew, but it didn't help my feeling physically ill about missing the melee today. I was in a van headed down the Canyon towards the aiport at 4:45am before the road closure.

With that said I had a great week, caught the first storm and had first tracks wed/thurs/fri, very briefly met DTM and enjoyed the snow and stoke, hopefully I'll be back out soon.

It was definitely a day that will be hard to top. Except for the crowds - yuck. Thank goodness the holidays are ending.

Can I hear a huzzah for a backside and ballroom opening tomorrow?

Mr. AG here (can't log AG out for some reason). Anyway, four letters for today....

    FKNA!

Hey Xover, this morning I was just driving the bus. First run, the only folks to beat me down West Russ was Alex the telemarketer and a buddy. I followed them over towards Collins face as the right side hadn't been touched. They were in front of me by about 30' and I kinda resigned in being third down the fresh. For some reason, they stopped on top! I down shifted the Spats into second and gunned by him making sure to give him and the riders on Collins a good Spat snow wave. As I said before, FKNA! Man I love driving the bus. Pulling back into the Collins line with a beard full of snow, a shit eating grin and giggling like a schoolgirl. See everyone tomorrow morning for more.
