Skied the last day of 2004 here, and coverage has significantly improved from the last time I was there with FUBAR - I'd say that they have twice the snow. Still several rocks available to hit, in fact I think with the higher coverage (and higher crowds) I went at it a little too hard and hit way more rocks than I did last time - last time the rocks were obvious and avoidable, this time around they're more concealed.

At any rate, conditions are still very icy from the rains we experienced last month - the ice layer is just below the surface. Even the groomers are VERY firm in spots. Challenging, as the required rock skis for these conditions don't generally have the best of edges.

5" received overnight, but with the crowds and the rocks/ice, that will just be dust on crust. They really need a 2-3' dump.

As of yet, 5 chairs open, no BC at all.
