    SLC Construction mags

Ok so heres the deal. I have an outside covered "porch". The dolts who did the reconstruction before i bought it thought it would be a great idea to use sheetrock on the ceiling. Yeah...outdoors and sheetrock (not blueboard even) is a great mix IMHO. Anyway not only did they use sheetrock, but where it connects to the house at the garage there is a difference in the garage joists and the "porch" joists. What did they do? They just bent the sheetrock up to the garage joists and said "yeah that works for me". Well obviously the nails have no popped and the sheetrock is ready to fall.

Now onto my request..im a fucking building jong..give me a house to paint and that shit will look great, but buidling??? I couldnt build my way out of a paper bag. What i need is someone to come redo that ceiling. Probably about 15-20ft X maybe 35 feet (i soo suck at measuring too). Needs to be done for an outside application not re sheeted. I dont wanna spend a ton but i do want it done right this time.

Any construction mags got some time to possibly come hook a mag up? I can easily help with demo and be that extra pair of hands to hold the material up so that we can screw it in, etc.

    Let me know..thanks a bunch.

I got the inlaws in town for the rest of the week helpin fix this old house and bailin to fish this weekend but I've hung and taped enough rock that we ought to able to git er done. There are some cool vinal /plastic that they use in resturant kitchens that you could install over the rock
that would save tapin/sandin and wash down/ clean pretty easy. Shoot me a pm or call mon.
    if I don't run into U @ OR Fri.

Ill buzz you...was actually hoping you'd see this thread since i know you're capable, hopefully "cheap" and i know you... ;-)

Do you think re rocking it is the best idea or should it be some sort of exterior "wood"? I know we will have to rip donw at least a few 2x4's to make up for the difference in distance between the garage joists and the ceiling joists over the patio.

Have a good weekend and ill get in touch soon.
