Holiday Rant

Sorry for the bitching but I have to air this out.

I was sheculded to fly back to CO from Boston on sunday night. A storm rolls in and dumps snow right as we are needing to get on the plane and our flight gets canceled. They re-routed the flight to land in Albany so they don't even have a plane to put us on the next day. The earliest they can confrim me is Wed. I bitch and moan and get nothing but a hotel voucher. The next day I am up at 5 am to go the airport to get on standby. A lot of waiting and no flying. I bitch and moan some more and manage to get a Tuesday flight out of providence. My parents drive me down only to find out they couldn't get this plane in either and this flight has been cancelled too. More bitching and moaning gets me another flight wed night but nothing more. Meanwhile I was supposed to leave wed night for Jackson. So much for that idea. One trip canclled
I finally get back to colorado and am starting to make plans to salvage some skiing since we are getting some good snow. I check to see what's going on with my vacation time and my employer charged me three extra days vacation time instead of sick or personal days. So now I am stuck to just skiing on the weekend wich i figure is better than nothing. I went out for lunch and my car dies and won't start. I have to have a freind come pick me up and my car is still stranded. Now it looks like I might not be skiing at all...so if aynone is headed up skiing from boulder this weekend, I could use a ride.

How far are you from Lafayette? I don't have plans yet but I was thinking of hitting the pass this weekend if the storm doesn't make things sketchy up there.

Bummer about the Jackson trip. If it makes you feel any better, it's gonna be 60 and raining here for the next week, and I can't find a plane ticket to anywhere that isn't going to cost me my left testicle.

BTW, good to finally meet you. Thanks for the hospitality while we were there. We had talked about going to the avy clinic, but didn't get up 'til after 10.
