    Whistler

Years ago there used to be a place in squamish that sold discount tickets, I think it was the 7 eleven. Is that still around and what are the discounts. Going there on Sun.. you know to catch that big storm..

also what are the conditions up there now?.. rocks, snakes etc.

Yup. Actually any 7-11 in Vancouver will sell you discounted tickets. $61 last I checked. Conditions suck. Not as bad as the solid ice from a week or so ago, but not great....

Another thing to consider is an Edge Card. I think the savings with it are more than what you'll get at 7-11. It's only available to B.C. and Washington residents.

If you have a Stevens Pass season pass or Advantage card you can get a "Harbor Resorts Card" for free which is essentially an Edge Card, but doesn't include the first lift ticket free (obviously...since it's free and all).

I thought you guys got some serious dumpage finally? Did it rain again after that?
It's not so much the model year, it's the high mileage or meterage to keep the youth of Canada happy

it rained and rained and rained, 7 1/2 inches approx, up to 8500 feet between Thursday night and Sunday morning two weeks ago..
That would've been about 6 feet of snow. Instead we got runnels!

And maybe a foot since. That would be generous. I'm skiing this weekend (Stevens or Crystal, I suppose.) I don't care how badly it will suck. I've invested a pretty fair amount of bread in local skiing this year, and I need to start recouping a little. Good thing I got new carvers this year too.

Dude, give me a ring. I'll be at Xtal tomorrow and possibly Sat too.

I'd like to ride with some mags.

Or I could go to Stevens...although that'd throw off my new year's party plans...
