    12-30-04 Friday (Utards summons)

Stoy and I were out today in the rager. Question is.......who's coming to Northern Utah to join us tomorrow.

Beta:4 mile sled ride, no bluebeast, everyone tows.

Skiing: 800ft vertical, no avie hazard. Run is 1 mile wide. Every run ends at the sled.

Food: Brats courtesy of Stoy, barbecue by me.

Drinks: Rum & Coke, Kalua and Hot C., beers, and I guess some water too.

Departure: 9:00 AM at the Swan Flat plow shack.

Snow: There was six inches of new when we left, and it's puking. Expect 1-2 ft of new.

I'm an ASS!!! I meant tomorrow, thursday the 30th. THURSDAY-30TH

Don't listen to him..six inches my ass. 1 to 2 by tomorrow? Joking us. Its raining up to 7000'. Winds are picking up, sleds are tearing apart that run. I don't think its worth it to come up here and ski. The skiing in this range is mediocre at best. Intermediate type skiing...who get a kick out of that?

Go to Alta. I heard its the best there! The place will be dumped on overnight and you will hardly have to worry about avy's there, they control it for you.

I'd get there early...real early. Early enough to be the first one on the chair to track that mountain out by 11. Don't bother driving up here.

Better yet, wait at the gate for LCC to open until noon to go skiing.

Why have a brat off the grill when you could go and buy a brat from some bar ang grill at the moutn of the canyon.

Backcountry sucks, especially when its snowing out.

    2Plank,

Good to hear your coming along.

    Head count:

    Me
    Stoy
    2plank
    Andre
    Erica

If more go, we will just make a quick shuttle.

Twoplank: Watcha bringing for goodies. The grill will be coming along this time. And a big tarp for shelter.

I'll find something tasty to grill up. Need any other gear, equipment, or supplies?

Sounds like fun. I wanna come. A lousy few inches forecasted in N.CO tonight. Bleh. I could be there in 6 or so hours.

Actually, the wife would kill me since we are supposed to go see a show tomorrow night. Have fun anyway. Can't wait to see the TR. Should be good.

hahahahahaha. I knew that discussion about hauling a couch would lead to this.

Not if ya posthole through 6 feet of depth hoar and over a small cliff band to approach the goods.

You better be cooking those turkey brats up good for a tip. We have a tough crowd tomorrow. They are learning to expect an aweful lot from us. Cavier, wine, gormet cheese, etc, etc. Now a couch too.
