Could one of you drive to Vail Pass and tell me what is happening up there? If you have extra time check Jones Pass to. Thanks

Aspen had 4-5 by the end of the day. It rained at base to just above little nells, but slalom hill was great. It was pouring until dusk and then the freezing level came down and it dumped for a couple of hours. It will be good in the morning.

    No shit!

Actually, rain can do wonders for the stability of the snow pack. I'm just going to keep saying that to myself over and over until the glass is half full. Hopefully it will, like Sierra and Cascade storms, dump a few feet of snow on top of that wet stuff.

Vail dropped 8 inches on top of whatever got rained on. Now, if someone will just stop the Denverites on i-70 for you, you might have enough room to ski !

Skicougar is my least favorite poster on this board. As a Denverite, I'm sorry if I 'clog up the slopes' so your rich texan ass doesn't have room to ski. I doubt you're ever on the same slopes as many of us on here. I rarely wait in lines, ski crowded slopes, or sit in traffic. Quit hating just because you live in a shithole swamp.

I'm leaving soon go go ski powder for the next 3 days within a 2 hour drive of my house. Being a Denverite is terrible.

Here's another lame example of how someone disagrees with another here and the bandwagon lobbyists get there rocks off with their sheep mentality. However, we pay income taxes and own this place, go back to the beach. I'm about tired of all you Griswalds and tourons anyhow.

My wish was for a pacific style storm involving 6 inches of wet snow followed by 2 feet of pow. This hardly qualifies. That 8 inches of mung was just the foundation. We'll see what happens with these other storms piling up.
