    divegirl's playlist, part 1

I've been listening to a lot of music lately at work, and finally figured out how to put playlists together (I'm a computer JONG, except for CAD programs). So, now I'll share it with you. By the way, the women of Bond are hot. Just thought I'd let all you dudes know. Oh, and sorry for the repeat of artists, but I think these work together pretty well.

Divegirl’s playlist, part 1 (kinda sappy):

    Title / Artist / Album

    Amazed / Poe / Haunted
    Senorita / Bond / Classified
    Lullaby / Bond / Classified
The Ecstasy of Gold / Metallica / S&M Disc 1
You Owe Me Nothing in Return / Alanis Morissette / Under Rug Swept
    I’ll Fly Away / Bond / Classified
    Lick the pavement / Garbage / B-Sides
    Miracle Drug / U2 / HTDAAB (new)
    Yahweh / U2 / HTDAAB
Last House on the Street / Young Dubliners / Rocky Road
    Everlasting Love / U2 / B-Sides
Luminous Times (Hold on to Love) / U2 / B-Sides
    Dancing Barefoot / U2 / B-Sides
    Sleep Together / Garbage / Version 2.0
When the Stars Go Blue / Bono; The Corrs / The Corrs Live
Something’s Missing / John Mayer / Any Given Thurs.
Original of the Species / U2 / HTDAAB
They Dance Alone (Cueca Solo) / Sting / Nothing Like/Sun
    Explosive / Bond / Classified
Hero of the Day / Metallica / S&M Disc 1
Shine (Dubshakra Mix) / Bond / Remixed
Agent’s Got No Secret / Dada / Dada
    Where You’re Going / Dada / Dada

And P.S. - I'm totally digging Dada - haven't really heard any of their other stuff before my co-worker gave me some of their discs, and it's really good.

Eh... Justice was pretty good. Then they spiralled downhill faster then Suzie Chaffee. Nothing the make will ever compare to Master, though.

Egads, DG... lots of U2 on that list. There are other bands out there, you know...

Yeah, fuck you. Why can't you guys think of something constructive to say?

    Meh...not feeling it right now.

What you need is some "For Whom the Bell Tolls" or "Ride the Lightning" to really spice it up.

Well, at least that was partially constructive.

We'll see what happens in divegirl's next playlist. Perhaps I'll add some older Metallica.

No, I wasn't being constructive. I was yanking her chain because I knew I'd get a rise out of her!

First, you can never have too much U2 on a playlist, however you can have too little Radiohead...

Second, if you are including songs from S&M, how could you overlook The Call of Ktulu? Classic.

Third, Although St.Anger is a bit AA / 12 stepish lyrically, and sounds like it was recorded in a tunnel, it's not that bad of an album...certainly better than most of what they have put out since Metallica / Black Album.
I went out there in search of experience. To taste, and to touch, and to feel as much as a man can, before he repents.
