Mt Bohemia conditions??

Any mags been to Bohemia yet this year? Howzit up there?
I'm thinking about a day trip 1/2/05.... Most of the UP has been getting a fair amount of snow, but the Bohemia website doesn't look like they've been getting the lake effect other areas have?

I talked to a friend today from calumet. He was there on sunday as well as today. Apparently Sunday was insane with like knee deep powder everywhere as everything opened up for the first time of the year. Today was still good but everything was tracked up.

The weather looks like it will warm up over the next few days, you might want to wait until the next dump, which hopefully isnt far off.

Their website info isn't very encouraging....
How was the coverage? Could be that the website isn't updated?

Their website and calling is pretty worthless. Last year I had a cabin booked because the lady told me that there was a ton of snow. I think she was taking my cc# down with one hand, and updating the site with the other. About an hour after she took my money on the premise that the skiing would be good, they closed half of what they had open, which was only half the hill to begin with.

I haven't been up there yet... waiting for the next dump. we haven't gotten any real fresh since x-mas day, the snow's pretty stale.
