Good afternoon. This is stoysluttie1 with your Logan area backcountry forecast, and its 4.30 in the afternoon.

Looking at the upcoming snow storms and a new year on the horizon, we should celebrate and to celebrate, wine, skiing and face shots, are a must.

Whomever would like to come up to LoCache Valley and head out on wine tasting tour sometime next week (Jan 3-7) should start to prepare the mind, body and souls.

Pending the avy conditions, I have a few places in mind. Some tours would put the Pfeiferhorn to shame, the Grunge, a mere walk in the park. Other tours, would be casual with a variety of skiing, skinning, and good ol' Tom Foolery.

What you would need to bring: Wine, of course, or some other tasty alcoholic fuel, cheese, bread or crackers. You will also need to bring your legs, your lungs, and patience..could be a looong day.

I have a couple of places to sleep some heads, one bed, one couch and some floor space (hardwood floors).

I will update this thread as the storms roll past and the idea comes to fruition.

Thanks for calling.
