I had one divorce proceeding go sideways and end up in 2 days of court over just MONEY and one involving 2 kids and a LOT more money go absolutely fine without lawyers to do the talking ... different people & different situ

its always cheaper for ex's to deal and to not go all lawyer on one another but IMO you still need a lawyer to tell you what your rights & options are cuz asking the guys at the virtual watercooler just doesn't count

In the last town where I lived it was customary for the guy to go to the shadiest nastiest divorce lawyer in town so their ex couldn't use that lawyer
