2) I want to ski Tahoe. There are 6 or 7 mountains and each have different passes. What is the most economical season's pass option that gives me leeway to ski most of the different options? Which mountains should I avoid?
3) (Don't bite my head off) From the bay, is it worth going to Mammoth? Does it have the same traffic issues that tahoe does?
4) Anyone doing some summer tours in the next couple of weeks? I'd love to bring skis when I come out to sign a lease...

Hayward is ghetto; I wouldn't want to live there. If you are young and like chasing skirts and have transportation, live in SF. Hayward might have a BART stop; so check their website (in case you have no car).
Mammoth is a large drive; your call. Avoid driving to Tahoe after 11AM on Fridays and returning Sun between 3-7. It's a cluster-fuck on 80 and only takes one pimped out slammed Honda w/out chains from San Jose to close the whole freeway.
After you figure out your job and your boss says OK to remote work, move to Tahoe; come to work for a week/month.
