    Thumbs up The Aviator

Somewhat disjointed and abstract, but still a very interesting and comprehendable movie. Flying scenes (OK, I'm biased) were fantastic. Plus the movie will have you repeating such fantastic lines as "Show me the blueprints", or "It's the wave of the future."

Go see the flick, learn about an instresting wierdo, and enjoy yourselves.

Although I kind of wish they'd included his Las Vegas wierdness, and covered his death....oh well, good nonetheless.

Yeah, maybe his later life will be covered by Tim Burton, with, of course, Johnny Depp doing the honors.

Great flick, but it had to be at least pretty damn good with Scorcese directing (not totally his project - Michael Mann produced and hired him). I usually can't stand Dicraprio, but he seems to have learned to act. Disturbing and uncomfortable story. But great flying scenes, and a lot of cool cameos. Cate Blanchett made a much more attractive Hepburn than the real thing.
