Snowy dreams from a Saturday nap

So around 5 today the firmament openned up and it started puking rain. So naturally I openned up my windows, and crawled into bed to sleep and dream of a snowy winter.

Just a few minutes ago I awoke and stared out at the night sky watching the rain pour down. And suddenly this reminded me of Alta. Really, you ask? Well one of the finest experiences of my life was sitting out in the hottub at the Peruvian after a day of skiing Alta pow and staring up the dark sky watching the fat flakes fall into the light and land ever so gently on my face.

Oh to be back in the snow again. I don't know if this sucker has hit the Sierra yet. But when and if it has, enjoy mags. This is a killer storm.

Been wondering the same. Crazy amounts of rain yesterday. Just dumping. That's just got to be good news for the hills.

I woke up this morning dreaming of superpark hip hits and mad kung fu style airs...honest...it's getting bad. I might have to cash in a tic on SW and get some after turkey day.

Sunday, 2:45. Thundering sheets of rain and hail in Sac. Can't hear my own voice over the pelting din. Bring it.

Meanwhile, it was 65 and sunny in the Bay. Gotta love Northern California microclimates.
