I need a Utarded BC partner for X-mas Day

I just got my Spatulas mounted with Freerides, and I want to take them on a test run. The south facing stuff across from Alta should be butter by 11 or 12 Saturday. It was skied quite a bit today, the danger should be low to moderate if it warms up too much. Anyone up for a quick lap or two on X-mas day?

What are you doing for skins on those???

I'll be interested about how they were going up. I know they rule coming down.
I want a 6" travel 20lb MTB. I found the 20lb MTB, but only good for riders under 87 pounds.

Be sure to get some elevation. I was up in Red Pine and Maybird today, and the south facing stuff off the backside was indeed buttery smoove. But the lower down the more you could feel the crunchy underneath. Sorry I can't join you but it's tradition for me and my son to go ski.

The trees in Pink Pine and between Red and Maybird were SWEEEET! 6-8" of smoove. I'd consider that if you want some good scenery and good snow.

TR about Pfeifer horn to come shortly.

The fattest skins are 130mm, which barely made it. I actually did have to trim them a little bit.

I'll be sure to let everyone know how they are going up. I'm quite curious myself.

Fat skis-fat skins= super tractor climbers. You'll see. You won't need to cut a single switch back. You could probably skin straight up the Grunge with them.

No need to report. They'll rule. Just show us a photo of your vertical, manly skintrack that no one can follow.
