need a Z1 5" Travel that I have used less then 10 hours?

If not I think I might have to buy this for the single speed.

    Mntlion,

Sorry...I just put a Z1 on the bike this came off. That would have been a nice trade...

Why install a Z1 with around the same travel as the minute?

Minute's aren't as plush...SPV is nice, but I decided I'd rather have the bob and lots of plushness...

As an aside: My LBS updated my '04 Minute 1:00 with the '05 valving. It's like butta now. Most importantly the small bump performance is vastly improved.

So what did that set you back? Just curious...Small bump performance was a bit less than I had envisioned.

I had bought the bike only 1-2 months before, and they offered to do it for free. I didn't even know it was possible; they brought it up. Needless to say, my shop kicks ass.

What can be done, is upgrading the SPV damper rod to the 2005 SPV Evolve. When I first spoke to Manitou about two months ago about doing the upgrade, I was told that they now only ship the SPV Evolve damper as a replacement part for all Minute forks.
Before the upgrade, my arms and shoulders used to take a beating when flying over a lot of small bumps. After the upgrade, it just rides smoothly over that stuff. Not Cadillac smooth, but a whole lot better.
