I got hosed.

I traded my A4 in July of 2003. Today I got pulled over for improper lane usage on 5 lane per side hwy. I did not signal. whatever, no biggie it's a weak ticket and I'll beat it. After 10 mins. a second trooper shows up and they chat, then both exit and come toward my car...I'm f'd.

They ask me to turn it off and step out into the 8 degree air. I do and am promptly spread eagle and then cuffed and searched. I have no chance to grab my jacket on and they tell me to remove my shoes. I do. After 10 minutes of searching my car they put in the troopers front seat and inform me that my lisc. is suspended due to blowing off an emissions inspection in April of 2004 on the Audi. They take my driver lisc, tow my car and drop me off at the next freeway exit. My jacket, phone, V1, and a trunk full of gifts are in the trunk.

So fuct up.

I just sent the emissions dweebs a pdf file of the form I submitted at the time of the trade in. Hopefully that will clear this up.
