    Kalaloch Surfing???

Hey, I may be working at the kalaloch lodge this summer... I surfed at LA Push and Westport last summer on a quick trip. I realize the strait is Ideal (I've read a lot about It and it's fickle patterns... Guessing it dosen't happen through the summer months) and hope to explore and score a swell or two up there, but I was wondering if anyone has surfed near the lodge?? and would be willing to share a bit of info?? Seems kinda rocky with all the stacks in the water. So far all i've been able to find is a youtube video of some kooks.

Suggestions? Or will I want to drive to LA Push most day's. Also looking for people to shred some snow this spring in the area... and surf of course.

Nobody has surfed this area?? I find it hard to believe that you strait junkies haven't checked in on it on your way to the groins or something... Not looking for secrets' I will find those on my own.

I have surfed the Strait a little, its really hit and miss. you need a sizeable swell for it to work, but when it does its pretty sick. As for the lodge, I have surfed some spots in that area...lots of large beaches with little structure. Not to mention most of the good spots are on Indian Res. Get a day pass and check out point Grenville.

I seem to never have a good day at La Push.

I'm pretty loyal to my couple of favorite places near P/A and Neah Bay.

Of course, I'm a fat intermediate kook on a giant board so my opinions on surfing aren't too relevant to a strong surfer.
