Made it up Friday afternoon, Saturday and Sunday. My feet, calves and quads were crying by the time we quit yesterday, but it was a blast. Always good to know that I didn't completely forget how to ski over the summer... Glad to hear everyone had a good time!

let's get back to what GT40 posted, that would be the respectful thing to do.

You know, there's like a butt-load of gangs at this school. This one gang kept wanting me to join because I'm pretty good with a bowstaff.

Sweet. Haven't been to Brighton in years (well, except for there bc). Had a hell of a day at Alta on Sat. According to our altimeter, we logged about 5,000 vert, not bad for the first outing ofthe season. Best preseason conditions in years. Made several laps off of Baldy Shoulder, Wildcat Face, including a little air off of the unloading ramp on Wildcat, and some shorter areas on the way down. Snow was very creamy, with about 4-5 inches of recrystalized powder on the surface. made for some loud turns. No rock damamge either.

Hey Xboat, I love this pic. Too much snow to golf locally. The quail are out in greater numbers this year.
