I can't take this shit much longer...
They put on good programming - Banff film festival movies and an assortment of ski/kayaking/mountain biking porn. However the people running this network are the most clueless idiots ever. There are commercials literally every 3-5 min. The worst part is most of the ads aren't even for anything! They're all commercials for RSN services or PCTV commercials. There's only one or two commercials for an actual company (like a commercial they'd actually be getting paid to air) every commercial break. So their commercial breaks are completely pointless. It's the same friggin RSN ads every single break.
On top of this, they butcher the stuff they air. Like they show a documentary and cut it off halfway through. They just started Prophecy at the Travis Rice segment! And the sound's screwed up. Someone needs to get a clue here.
The worst part is I can't stop watching this channel because when I flip across it, something interesting is usually on, so I start to watch it even though I know I'm going to be pissed in a few minutes because of the dumbass RSN ads, or when they just cut off the program.
Sorry about the whining, this has been getting on my nerves for months now, and I just happened to have my computer in front of me while I was watching it tonight...

When i'm home i'll watch it. Fun to catch clips of segments you haven't seen in awhile.
And their Saturday night movie was always good. Soon some really obscure climbs going down by some hardcore guys. Too bad we can't get it up here.My Montana has an East Infection

Interesting. I thought it was just my local channel (COTV) that was fucked up. apparently it is widespread and may be an issue with RSN. I have had the same expereince and frustrations.
The snow doesn't give a soft white damn whom it touches.

That's what happens when a TV channel is run by bean counters rather than technicians. It's kinda like "this space reserved for when our sales staff scores another victim." The station promos are bought & paid for already, so they're essentially "free."
Whenever I'm sick of working here I'm gonna move back to Vail and fix Ch. 8.
