    It sucks in Japan right now too;

    Bring it.

So for christmas I get this in the PNW: No snow forecast, shitty football team, and the prospect of ice skating at Whistler over new years... gee, how swell...

    High pressure sucks.

    High pressure sucks.

    And again: high pressure sucks.

Thank heavens my ski destination is a flippy spinny camp (aka amusement park, basically) not a big mountain camp...

[antijinx]Word on the street is that there may be (unskiable) snow ELSEWHERE for Christmas morning though. [/antijinx]

Edit: "your local forecast for (insert my zipcode--not telling for the sake of antijinx": Fri
    Dec 24 Showers 41°/19° 30 % precip.

    Forecast for Breckenridge:

Today: A 20 percent chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a high around 17. Wind chill values between -2 and 7. West northwest wind between 7 and 10 mph.

Tonight: Snow likely, mainly after midnight. Cloudy, with a low around -2. Wind chill values between -9 and -19. Northwest wind between 11 and 14 mph becoming calm. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.

Wednesday: Snow likely. Cloudy and cold, with a high around 8. Wind chill values between -2 and -12. Calm wind becoming west northwest between 4 and 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.

Wednesday Night: A 50 percent chance of snow. Cloudy, with a low near -13. Wind chill values between -23 and -33. West northwest wind between 9 and 15 mph.

Thursday: Snow likely. Cloudy and cold, with a high near 5. Blustery, with a northwest wind between 14 and 22 mph, with gusts as high as 33 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Thursday Night: A 20 percent chance of snow. Mostly cloudy and blustery, with a low around -13.

Friday: A 20 percent chance of snow. Mostly cloudy and blustery, with a high around 18.

Chance of snow everyday, but I think it's going to be "too cold" for much accumulation. Although last time they forecasted 4"-8" we got 26".

It has been confirmed... Sunday was the worst day ever. My roommate was at Baker and had the same opinion.

Yeah, I think I'm sitting this cold snap out. Considering low to medium coverage and a holiday weekend, I'm sitting. Maybe when the promised warm up comes next week I can sneak in a slush party before the next ice box high moves in.
