The physical therapist for my mother said that he'd take me up there when the conditions are good...I've never heard of it but I bet it is badass (I mean, come on, what isn't badass about Magic?). Anyone done it?

isn't that the lost ski area that was bought by magic?
For sure, you have to be lost to find a place that can't be found, elseways everyone would know where it was
hmmmm.......
Wouldn't that be in the NELSAP website then? Hold on...Originally Posted by laseranimal

if the north side is the backside of magic then its the old timber ridge ski area. haven't been back there since i was a kid but i thought that magic bought it and assumed they had incorporated that area into magic mtn w/ lifts turning. if so, its a pretty fun little area. so, is the north side of which bigjay speaks an old ski area???
Here's an aerial pic of Magic and Timber Ridge:

last time i was there (march '01), that place was on the map and had trails leading to it. i didn't make it over there though.
fine
Timberside was part of Magic for a while. It's got some nice rolling runs. I'll tell you what's badas about it, there are some killer raspberry patches back there. The front side is where the action is.
