I hear Levis tucked into your ski boots make for pretty good ski pants.

May be there on Tuesday, depending on this whole work thing. It seems to get in the way every once in a while. I'll probably red eye it with a few k board folks.

BTW make sure you wear the stiff Wrangler dark blue jeans, they're the best for snow conditions. Top it off with the infamous Starter Jacket.

I will probably sit out until I hear a bit more about it, but Wednesday or Thursday are strong possibilities.

The word I heard was that Kmart was going to start blowing until Monday/Tuesday. This is what I was told when I called up friday afternoon. Are they blowing right now? Dont temps have to stay low for 4 days before they even start?

Whoever told you that, was not in the know. Snowmaking started on the upper mtn around 630am on Friday. They're blowing the upper and lower today. Here's the report from the Basin Ski shop and a pic taken this morning:
"Nov 8th 27 degrees and sunny- The snow guns are running from the peak down to the gondola. Opening day is scheduled for Tuesday morning. The long term forecast looks good for extended snow making. We will have top to bottom skiing this year, no truck rides."

so then you'd say they insulate well and don't get wet? I don't have a starter jacket...or any jackets that say anything. Guess I'll have to go to Bob's Store for all my Startaah needs. Any ideas on what team I should represent?

I think it's around 8 but we all know that means around 2-3 runs.
    Great Northern
    Upper Rime
Upper East Glade (with park features, usually a hip and two rails)
    Lower Rime
    Lower East Glade
    Lower Bunny Buster
    Lower West Glade
