Heavy rain in the valley was the front end of the storm,but it cooled down quickly. Definitely didn’t get the amounts they called for here but still significant accumulation. The base has arrived

Verbier has been slammed but also loads of wind. I mostly skied today in one of the lower areas (Bruson) and it was face shot central with a load of waist deep shots. Lots of wind slabs, even at lower elevations and in the trees. But pretty mega. Felt shallower for the couple of runs I made on the (higher) Verbier side. Still snowing.

It’s been dumping in Verbier. We are on day two of the bender and snow has remained light all the way to the valley…I have no idea how much we have actually gotten but I would guess circa 60cm down low and lots of terrain/wind dependent factors through the village and above. It was deep in what few trees we have today…

Time to drink it blue for tomorrow…race will be on between Christmas Eve dinner in Geneva and some two pound hand charges…
