Hayduke....I think that Gavin in Verbier61's post may be a.n.other: On TGR "Hucksmuck" and on Snowheads "Parlor".
not sure....but informed guess...
Thinking about taking a day off and hitting Verb tomorrow. Boss probably wont be happy so need to know if it will be worth the bollocking I'll get Monday?
Was raining hard in Lausanne earlier, wondeirng if that will equate to any more fresh in the mountains. Snow-forecast.com is a bit poor.
I could just go Saturday....
yes. check this radar for a good detailed snow image. looks like about 5-10cms. be mindful that the holiday crawds are still up there. i'd say go for it. the snow is good right now.
Morning Lads,
I'm new to TETON but have been watching the maggots for a while. So firstly, hello, and second, it's gonna snow on the 26th Jan, it always does, my mum told me so I put it in my diary.
hello franck the rabbit, that is very interesting. did your mum specify where it is going to snow on january 26th?
rain to about 1800 here at the moment.
Ich bitte dich nur, weck mich nicht.
Damn boss.. why did I hvae to have a meeting with him this afternoon... Arrg. I guess it will have to be saturday.
news from the verb front. clouds, bad visibility, a bit of snow (rain up to 2000) and an hot wave that has transformed into sticky glue some of the abundant powder we got two days ago. Not everything is lost, I am sure there is still something to enjoy.... I am thinking about spots that have been saved from the huge W wind that - infact - spoiled all the W exposed part of the tortin bowl
Just got off line with one of the boys down there in Verbier and he said it was windy but is snowing now. The forecast looks good.
Ill be the grinning motherfucker in the pub around 8ish on Saturday in the corner over by the phone box with a pint of Guinness.

Leaving Every Turn Unstoned!
Kitzsteinhorn today was good. 40cm yesterday and a bit of a dusting today, just enough for the tracks to be refilled. Snow was a tad heavy but more faceshots were had.
Syria here I come.

There is a pair of Mantras waiting for teletori in No1 Sports and we will pick em as soon as we get there and then go to the pub.
Me, I think it will be a bit silly of me to unpack my T@nkers at 7.30pm and go to the pub. Ill wait until after ski!!!

Snow at SSB was nice today.
See the TR that I posted. Ripz will add photos soon.
They claim, and I believe from skiing there today,
that they saw only snow over the last days.
The tunnel opens tomorrow supposedly.
Should be nice, but I imagine that there are some tracks in it already.
The sun being on it will certainly offer a different feel than the fluffy goodness we had today.
That's all I know. Stay high. I suggest above 1900m.
Ski, Bike, Climb.
Resistence is futile.
verb: snow like sugar today. very nice day indeed
Chamonix did not suck today (early) but definitely hardened up towards the afternoon. Gonna be chunky tomorrow.
Just had two epic days in La Grave. Storming the first, tracks were blown over every run, no one on the mountain. Second day Wildstyle got his ass up on the mountain - we had windblown chalky pow, high speed charging conditions, lossa fun. More people about but mostly locals, great atmosphere.
Before that I was in Verbier skiing with Wildstyle and Verbier61. Great snow, horrendous queues. But we had some sweet powder.
Scotty: yep, we've skied together - a Vallons d'Arbi in late 1999 springs to mind. I used to work for a UK tour op, Simply Travel so was in No1 all the time. My name's Alastair.
