You can see it from the chair. Nobody is sending anyone. I think if you're on this forum you should be able to make your own decisions terrainwise.

Thanks all. We skied the white ring and a bunch of side lifts and pistes around Zug today. I found some fun chutes and gulleys along the way to pop in and out of. Lots of fun. Some corn, some ice, some slush.

The off piste terrain is mind blowing. I wish conditions were a bit better for exploring it.

I appreciate all the advice and promise to make good decisions terrain wise. I ski a ton of sidecountry and backcountry at home. I'll do my best not to get into trouble

    Hi all,

Booked a last minute trip to see the inlaws in croatia and hopefully do some skiing/drinking/eating in the dolomites. Planning on staying in selva first week of april, with no real plans otherwise. I know its late season, any recs or things of interest that are must sees? No expectations besides groomer skiing, really. Is it relatively easy/cheap to rent reasonably decent skis? We can fly with ours but would rather not. Would love to do some spring touring around the region but probably too complex for this trip.

The dolomites, as the whole southern alps, have basically no snow. stay in the Balkans (they should have fared better this this season if i remember the patters correctly) or go to the northern alps.

I’d also say ski over to Schröcken for a cool day with pops. I ski that side every now and again.

Shocking how little snow we have at elevation. Looks like late April up there. I’m getting skeptical about a good corn harvest here!

Today we started from Lech to the top of Rüfikopf and made our way to Zürs. After exploring some of the terrain we skied the zürser täli and then back up to Madloch, down to Zug, up Zugerberg and down to Lech to complete the white ring for the first time.

btw kevo in stuben on top there is a hut with a amazing terrace great view - not so good food - better for a drink
albonagratstube right on the ridge on top station of albonagratbahn
Thanks for the info! I think tomorrow we will start at Rüfikopf and go to Zürs and then towards St Christoph and hope to also get on top of Valluga. We are thinking we may go to Stuben the next day, in which case we will check out your recommendations!

Thanks also. Yesterday we skied from Lech almost Warth, but didn't go down all the way because snow was getting bad down low. It was fun over there!

Snow is drastically melting by the day. So much more exposed grass today than yesterday, even up very high. Pistes are luckily holding for now. By next week, maybe not so much.

Huh. I wrote good? Instead of god. Hmm. Anyway.

There is A chance for a change for the better next week. But the light at the end of the Tunnel can still be a train because of the decayimg low pressure System off the coast of and later on the Iberian peninsula.

The trough might not make it to the alps because of it. We'll see clearer by sunday.
