There is a lot of snow out there.
    Let it snow more.

Not sure how much is out there.
Ripz, that photo place of you up to your ass last year is deeper!
Wind is making some places there about 2m deep.

Ski'd dem thar trees today, and each run was like a new run,
wind and snowing filling the tracks after I passed.
Down and out of the wind, snow is nice, and bottomless.

Skiied Les Contamines today. One of the best days of the season. 60-80cm of fresh, fairly light pow in the trees and shrubs. GET UP THERE.

Snowed all day today at Engelberg, before changing to rain in the town and back to snow. Supposed to snow through the evening and into tomorrow.

More snow on ground outside my door this am.
    About 20-30cm more.
It just keeps piling up out there.

Wow things since changed from back on page like 30 when we were all bitching about the lack of snow and wanting to move across the Atlantic, ehh?

Big fat snowflakes dumping down everywhere. EVERYTHING in Chamonix - including Le Tour, etc. - has been closed all week due to high avo danger and winds. Chamonix.com says another 20-30cm today, then maybe partial clearing tomorrow and Tuesday, with yet more snow coming in on Wednesday.

Sunday: Champoo; CH-side PDS. Again, Sic-Off-the-Ric!

Everything hi closed all day...no wind, but tooo much fresh in the last 24 hours. Liason bwtn Champoo & Les Croset closed all day.

Snowed all morning long. Snowing when we left at 2PM.

Pow Depth - 40 - 70cms of fresh. In the trees it was bottomless 4 me on my oldsyle boards.

Pow Quality - Feathery fluff. Pillow jumping.

We left a lot on the table. W/ low clouds keeping liasons closed there will be plenty of great lines un-touched for Monday.

    and it just won't stop.....

tomorrow/tuesday could be the days of getting some in western switz(it will snow in the north) and france and then the next storm will hit.
weekend is still uncertain, it might be cold and new snow or warmand sunny.

on wednesday the new storm wil bring some warmth so snow leves may ris to 1500m again and fall on thursday/friday. some new snow will be in it too but not as much as we've seen. so the weather will most likely bad from wed to fri and then it is hard to saywhat will happen.....

my hopes are bad/semicold weather until tuesday and sunyn /cold afterwards because then i got someone to share gas

Snowed all day today, between the face shots, whiteout, and fog I couldnt tell up from down. Very wierd sensation.

Actually as I look out the window now it is still snowing down low, but I can actually see the top of Titlis. Actually, this is the first time since arriving in Europe I've been able to see anything. Snow and fog in Amsterdam, snow in zurich, snow in lucern, and snow in Engelberg.

If tomorrow gives some visibility, it will be prime.

Saturday was an awesome day on the East Coast and I thought for once this season I was getting more than my mom back home in Austria ...

... that was until she called me and told me of the 50cm fresh in the city in Graz (way east and down at 314m) and the crazy snow dump everywhere else in Austria.

Soooooooooo stoked for end of March (but until then the East Coast is looking good).

Wow! 3 great days of fresh lines, bottomless, and little competition. Monday is a day of rest (and, work!) 4 me.

After a late season start, very few storms, and coreshots (even on pistes) the month of March comes on strong.
5 days ago there were lines I would not have skied due to exposed rocks and grass.
Now those lines are covered deep enough you could not get a coreshot if you were trying to. What a turn-around!

From lakeside it looks the viz has improved and some sunshine will peek thru for u who ski. Njoy! and, be careful.

just back from 9 days in verb. Nuked for 4 consecutive days, everything above 2600 closed on the WE for ava risk and big wind. saw from the net that they'll begin to open (slowly) something above 2600 this afternoon. I've tracked everything possible between 2600 and 1500 and it has been really nice

ok, here's my situation....i'm getting into cham on tuesday night and will skiing wed on my lone-some if anyone's up (bbritle?). thursday i'm probably on corporate duty, but then am free again on friday. i'd love to hit contamines cause i've never been there and there might be a bit more pow left over there. the other disclaimer is that i'm just getting off having pneumonia, so i'm not going to be able to pound it all day long.

Send me an email I'll give you my digits (b at birtle dot com). I'm not sure what's going down this week in terms of the weather but could be up for something.
