Can't tell you how good it makes me feel to read this. (Not your post obviously T_N. I hope your Mrs. is doing ok)
Trying to decide which would be the best days to take off work this week.

"SnowSnowSnowSnowSnowSnowSnowSnow for the Euros!"
We've got 5cm of snow on the ground in town, been - as Geo says - SHITTING since last night.
Finishing up some cereal ask me in a few hours how freaking great the snow is up there.
Party!
it has been a very nice week in verb. Sun and pleasant snow (above 2200) mon-thurs, rewarding AT tour in ovronnaz on friday, then two powder days sat-sun
sooo anyone up for La Grave?
pleease. i don't have enough money to go alone and i want to go ALL THE WAY BABY. (i never had La grave in really good conditions..)
Those pussies at the german Board only have 4 days. (which is quite stupid for la grave, but hey I'D DO IT. But i wish i could stay longer.)
It's a war of the mind and we're armed to the teeth.
that depends. i'd go this week, but the cycle seems to continue for a while.
soo maaybe next week could be better. The problem could be what happens when the cycle breaks, because it may get pretty warm afterwards.

i could do a long weekend. at the moment, i wouldn't plan for this coming weekend tho. also, consider there might be better snow elsewhere...

Ich bitte dich nur, weck mich nicht.
even if it is raining in Bern, there seems to be lots of new snow. Anyone up for Adelboden tomorrow? PM or leave a message here. Mabey I can ride my fat tele's!
Flurries in town today, but still coming down pretty hard above ~15-1600m.
The temp spiked alot last night, the pow was much heavier today, but still 60cm deep and no complaints, this is the first week of off piste I have had at Leysin.
The amazing camera skills of steve... This is just below Les Fers lift. Its all I got.

60-70cm light and perfect pow at Flegere. Gigantic flakes DUMPING DOWN out my window in Chamonix town, with 10cm on the streets. Forecast has snow for the foreseeable future.
It's going nuclear in Europe.
Can I get a "woo hoo!"?
Subtle, as I said in the other thread, you have no excuse this time.

Faceshots all the way here in 4vallees, i'm guessing around 40-50cm on the bowl next to Chassoure. And it was surprisingly quiet around there.
Hey-
the crowds were more than yesterday, but not bad at all, we were linking our own trax, I also didnt go up until noon again and only crossed others tracks a couple of times! I didnt make it over to Solepraz or up to Chaux de mont, the vis wasnt good, and it was one of those things when you have it good somewhere why go look elsewhere. Anyways, sorry im a bit useless.
I dont have class tomorrow morn, gonna hunt for first chairs up and i'll check both out, tour d'ai and solepraz. 800m snow levels tonight means things could get epic.
How is solepraz? It was only open for 3 days or something at the beginning of January so I have yet to ride it. Website said it was being prepared though...
oh, and did I mention how much is sucks that this week is mid-term exams...figures
Skied untracked knee to waist deep all day in and out of the trees at Megeve Today - Almost no lift lines and competition for the Pow...so light and fluffy in the trees, even down low....kinda nasty sticky out of the trees below 1100m though.....pistes scary and icy at that alt. also. hoping the Midi is open tomorrow.
Knowledge is Powder
bump for euro NUKAGE, cold steady snow in town, cant keep my eyes from the window. Tomorrow will be epical. MUST......STUDY......FOR........EXAMS....NOW
whhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Another 10cm in St. Jakob last night (on top of 10cm yesterday). Kneedeep off the riffelbahn today.
whhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Elvis has left the building
coming to St Anton this Friday...countdown begins!!
You really need to stop knowing WTF you're talking about. (Tippster)
Flegere today again, this time Index open. Big lines and fresh tracks all day with OK viz. Surprisingly slightly heavy, but still incredible at 50-70cm deep.
Was at Zermatt for the last 3 days, yesterday gave some good knee-deep sport, untracked lines lap after lap but had the annoying problem of gapers following our traverses in and then trying to poach our lines as we skiied one at a time.
