I finally got a lid this week and I love it so much I need to tell the world. First off...as the masses have said, get the helmet that fits. I has skinny head so I was looking at Giro...if my melon was a bit rounder I would have gotten a Smith helmet. I wanted a helmet that was fully adjustable (fit and vents) and this thing is perfect. Depending on how/where you ski this thing adjusts to all conditions. There's a thin, removable liner that pops right out so you can wear a hat when it's cold (I do), . The liner pops back in easily when it warms up to ditch the hat, or pops out again for no hat/no liner when it's really warm. The fit system this thing has rocks. There's 3 settings of tilt, plus the dial in the back to micro-adjust the fit...so basically, any goggle fits since you can dial the brim into where it hits your goggles. I have Smith Phenoms and the fit is perfect on the middle setting. I went with the Chapter vs. the Seam cause I read a bunch of reviews that said the Seam's vents are noisy/rattle. These vents are dead quiet at full speed. The ear pads come out/in with no issues as well. I can't tell I'm wearing the thing, which pretty much says it all...not sure what it weighs, but it's crazy light. Here's a stock pic..it's got style too. There are vents on the brim for a goggle vent system similar to what smith does too. I haven't used it in spring/warm conditions, but since Giro claims this helmets has the best venting they've ever had...I'm sure it will be fine
