Outdoor sound system

Hi all.
In my house, the previous owner had an outdoor sound system installed. The speakers and wires are still there.
All I need is a CD player/tuner/a sound source.
Please advise how should I go about. What's the best option for me?

I would advise getting a CD player/tuner/a sound source, and hooking it up, seems like the best option for listening to sound outside.
