I have one of those routers sitting right in front of me; use it for home wireless internet access. Works fine. It also has 4 wired ethernet ports.
FYI, if you have SBC Yahoo DSL, with the Speedstream modem (like I do), it's harder to set up this router; takes a few more steps.
For $2.99, if you've got high speed access and don't have a hardware firewall of any kind, get it just for that.
